Watch out for this company!
I was looking to move out of Florida to New Jersey and called around to get prices. I came along a salesman named Todd from A & R Discount Moving Co. He gave me the price of $3,450.00 I thought that was a little high being that I was only moving a sofa 27' t.V. 35 boxes and a 5 pc. Bedroom set. Well to make a long story short I paid up front and when moving day came no-one showed up and I called the company but, the phone was disconected, I went to the office but, a new company was now there. So I started looking for the owner and found out that he went back to Hatti and no longer stayes in the U.S.A.
I hope he stays there! But, after I looked into his company further I learned that this is his way of doing things. He starts a company takes peoples money and leaves the states then comes back and starts all over again. Sometimes he even starts the same company back up under new ownership (his sons names or wife) So when you go to hire a moving company do forget to look up the owners names and run them to see if they are on the run themselfs in this case the owners name is LucyMable...
