LeeAnn Rost operating as PawPatch Kennels, Pawpatch Puppies and toycuties.com sold us a 16 week old female yorkie puppy with a congenital spinal deformity. We had this puppy for less than 12 weeks before she died. The last 7 of these weeks this little puppy was paralyzed and incontinent. We did notify LeeAnn about the puppies condition the minute we found out. She did agree to replace her in the event of her death. We did try to save the puppy with a $3,100.00 spinal surgery that didn't work.
Now that the puppy has passed LeeAnn has decided to not abide by her own contract which clearly states that she (LeeAnn) guarantees the puppy to be healthy at the time of sale or she (LeeAnn) will either replace the puppy or refund the money. Since this puppy's health issue was congenital (born with it) the puppy was not healthy at the time of sale. Therefore, this puts LeeAnn in breech of her own contract/guarantee. Even after knowing this herself (LeeAnn) she still refuses to make good on her word.
