Recently my 81 year old mother was taken advantage of by LA Weight loss. My mother and her care giver statedthey gave LA weight loss all of her medical history. Mom is diebetic, hypertensive, has had 2 back surgeries, and has inner ear issues (dizziness).
The rep signed her up and took her $600 without so much as a phone call to Mom's doctor. They put her on thier diet plan and excercise plan aftering hearing about her diebeties and back surgeries. She was talked into paying the full amount o0f $600 in advance.
Mom's doctor sent these people a letter and I talked with "Sandy" twice at the Rocky Mount NC location. She was rude, uncaring, and just the right personality to take advantage of the elderly.
I have contacted the attorney general of NC and asked that his office to investigate the practices of this center. Please BEWARE!!
