AAC is trying to collect $1019.34 and $172 from me for past phone bill charges from PacBell. The funny thing is that I have never even been to CA, much less lived there.
I have lived in IL for my entire life and had only two jobs. My first job was from 1981-1988. The second job is from 1988-present. How could I possibly have a phone bill from a state I have never visited.
I have disputed this for years, and it keeps coming back to me. I noticed the addresses for this company are the same, however the phone numbers are not. I have read some of the reports, and phone numbers are all different.
How can they possibly keep getting away with this? This is now affecting my ability to purchase a home.
