Darren Paulson & Teresa McCarthy Of Qualified Leads, These two are the world's godforesaken scumbag rip-off artists. Darren, if that's his true name. Is smooth and smart. He's however forgetful like most stupid criminals

On its website, qualifiedleads.com, Qualified Leads, shows that it has its corporate headquarters in California. The address indicated on its website is as follows: 5482 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90036. The phone number indicated is as follows: (213) 226-1900.

When I initially contacted the company online around August 6, the companys agent that responded to my inquiries about the companys services was Darren Paulson, a smooth-talking scumbag, whom from all indications appeared to be located in Scottsdale, Arizona. The $423 personal check as payment for services to be rendered was forwarded to: Qualified Leads Incorporated, Accounting Department, 20801 North 90th. Suite 205. Scottsdale, AZ 85255-4544. Darren Paulson's phone number of (480) 614-9704 also appear to be an Arizona phone number.

I work and reside in the Chicago metropolitan area. With an interest in improving sales, I decided to solicit online, the services of an appointment-setting or lead generating company. Out of about seven companies on my list, Qualified Leads Inc. Was one the two companies that I contacted. The other companys name is RentATelemarketer. The charges for the services RentATelemarketer was $299, whereas that of Qualified Leads Inc. Was $846 as stated on its agreement.

As I negotiated with Darren, I indicated to him that I was on a very tight budget, and furthermore, RentATelemarketer had made me a better offer. Besides his claim that he and his company knew my industry better, and thus his company could provide better services through their telemarketing call-center out of Omaha, Nebraska, Darren sought to dissuade me from doing business with RentATelemarketer. He suggested that I needed to be mindful of the fact that RentATelemarketer operated its telemarketing call-center out of the Phillipines, and thus may be suspect. I informed Darren that the location of the call-center was immaterial as I am on a tight budget. Moreover, what was important at the initial stage of my effort was the integrity of the company and affordability of its services.

After a few more negotiating exchanges, Mr. Paulson offered that I could pay $423 to Qualified Leads, Inc. For his company to immediately begin my telemarketing campaign. He guaranteed that with his companys superior and impressive services, the telemarketing program would yield at least 30 sales leads from which I could then have the funds to remit an additional $423.

I waited a few more weeks to deliberate on Mr. Paulson's offer. I contacted him again around August 24th to see if the offer was still good. Mr. Paulson seemed unable to recollect anything about me or the offer. I reminded him of the details of our previous discussions and the offer. He suggested the offer was still good, and that I should promptly forward the payment so Qualified Leads Inc. Could begin my telemarketing campaign.

In our back and forth phone conversations as I attempted to finalize the agreements and remit funds to Qualified Leads Inc., Mr. Paulson did seemed forgetful about important details of our discussions. At one point, he phoned me asking to speak with another customer. I expressed grave concern about his forgetfulness and jokingly wondered if it was not an omen of things yet to come. He assured me he frequently mixes up his clients because he deals with quite a few on a regular basis. I challenged him that I am also a salesperson, and that I make great effort not to confuse my clients.

Barely a week after I mailed a personal check for $423 with all the materials to begin my telemarketing campaign, Mr. Paulson e-mailed me asking that I remit an additional $423 before Qualified Leads, Inc. Will do anything. I quickly challenged Mr. Paulson's attempt at bait and switch, and asked that he promptly refund my $423. He and his company, thus far, has refused to refund the $423. He claimed that they have done a lot of work for me. My effort to contact the companys corporate headquarters in California to seek a resolution and claim my funds has been of no avail.

To anyone else Darren Paulson has scammed, and it appears to be quite a few people, I will be willing to sign-up to a group effort to drive-up to Scottsdale, Arizona, find him, and kick the living daylights out of him.
