I was called in October and presented with an offer for a credit card, the price was $169.00, I gave the company my account information (direct debit from my savings acount) I was told that in approximately 2 weeks I would have my credit card [Visa or Mastercard]. About 1 month later [I presumed 9-11 may have delayed the mail] I called to find the status of my card. At this time the company told me that they had changed to a new company and were not issuing any new cards because the company they were working with had changed their mind, and they told me that I would still get a gas company card.
I told them that I wanted my money back and they said that in approximately 2 weeks they would deposit my refund back into my account. To date my refund has not appeared. And now the phone number is reported as "UNASSIGNED" for the last 3 months prior to today when I would try to contact them the line would be busy.
