I had been contacted by Rene Trevino who is a partner in Neighborhood Satellite and Security. He wanted me to go to work for them selling Dish Network. Since I had known him from a previous company, I said yes. We agreed on a commission of $150 per installation.
A couple of months later, a neighbor asked me if I could help him get Dish Network. I said yes and emailed Rene with his information. I got an email back from Rene later that evening saying my neighbor would have his installation the next day. He was installed on August 9. I never received a check for the installation.
I have tried repeatedly to contact Rene and, at first, he would email me back with excuses why my check had not been mailed. Now he doesn't respond at all. I have looked all over the net for their web site and can't find one. I can't find an address. The phone is a cell phone and it's only a message. There is no response.
I guess I've lost the money and I want to caution people about this scam. Make sure you know who you're working for. Don't take their word for anything. Do your reasearch and make sure you can contact them if you have problems. I'm glad I only lost $150 and didn't sell more accounts for him.
