I sued Dennis Hurley in small claims court in 12/06. I won because he is a scammer and basically stole money from me.
In the last 10 months he has refused to pay the judgement, return my calls, meet with me or anything else. He continues to rip people off in the Albany capitol district though. I personally know of 4 people he has scammed out of hard earned money. We're talking $5k here. He's making a living off scamming people.
He asks for 1/2 the money up front for materials for the home improvement job and then is never seen again.
Cops do thing other than take a report. They say it's a civil matter. What he's doing is criminal in my opinion and he should be in jail.
He filed for bankruptcy in 2003. Since then he's racked up close to $20k in unpaid debts. I guess he'll just file bankruptcy again and get rid of that debt too. His fico score is a shameful 283! His most recent phone number listed on his website has been disconnected due to nonpayment. He's had 4 different phone numbers in less than a year. He just keeps racking up bills and not paying them. No joke. Look him up!
