I ordered a quite pricey laptop from Dell and DHL was the designated delivery carrier. It was scanned in on the 4th of Sept at a facility that is 25 miles from my home. It was supposed to be delivered no later than the 6th. Well five days after said delivery date passed, I called DHL only to have them tell me that they had "misplaced" my package and had no record of since it was scanned in several days before. They stated they would find it first thing Monday and get it right out to me. I received a phone call mid morning Monday from a different person who hem hawed around before finally getting to the point that they had lost my package! He said maybe I should call Dell and see about getting a replacement shipped to me. Hello, Dell didn't lose the darn thing, THEY did, yet I'm suppose to go to all the hassle of trying to get another laptop sent?!? I figure this package was misplaced right out the door by one of their employees!!! I called Dell and they were very nice about getting me a new system shipped out but NOT by DHL. The really bad part is that the Customer Service Rep from Dell admitted that they have had this same problem with DHL losing other customers orders, so beware! When ordering merchandise, ask who will be delivering it and if it is DHL do so at your own risk.
