We started our relationship with Lease Finance Group back in 2002. They were recommended to us by Global Payments, our debit machine transaction service. We started the process of terminating our lease with Lease Finance Group a.K. A CIT in early 2007. Ambiguous fine print, and technicallities like inapproprite wording in termination letters cost us hundreds and hundreds of dollars. Lease Finance Group (CIT) inadvertently and without permission uped our monthly payments and debiting our bank account over the last 5 years. They are the company that gave birth to the phrase 'buyer beware'.
Now after 9 months, out of frustration and months of back and forth discussion, we will be paying out $137 on top of the $750 collected by them over and above our lease agreement, for antiquated equipment.
I would recommend that NO ONE does any business with this group. If you decide to do so, read all the fine print and expect that they will manipulate and gouge you for every dollar. Shame on them for their shady business practices and shame on Global payments for recommending them to unsuspecting small business owners! (Shame on us for not reading usacomplaints.com more dilegently!)
