La weight loss is a ripoff. They take your money and then dont give you your money back. I am a former employee they tell you lies from the begining. During my interview i was told that i was interviewing for a certain center then when i went i was told that there was no postitions open at that center and was placed in a center that was very far from where i applied.
First of all their add on career builder is misleading they tell you that you are applying for one city but when you get there they tell you that there are no openings. They tell you if you are a sales counselor that you will make ten dollars and hour plus commission they make it seem like you are going to make a lot of money but that is so far form the truth.
You make them thousands of dollars and your commisson may be 50 dollars if that your check is always short they find someway t o not pay you all of your money. Also they tell managers that they will make commission off of personal sales and off what they center makes. That is not true. Managers get no personal commission and the only way they get commission on the center is if the center makes goal. They center never makes goal so the manager never sees the commisssion. Managers are overworked and underpaid.
As for the clients they scam them into thinking that there weight loss program is only going to cost them 200-300 maybe. But what they dont tell them is when they come in for their personal success visit they are going to ask them to bulk on their la lites which costs over a thousand dollars.
The worst part about it they make it mandatory to purchase the la lites or they cannot do the program they tell the clients that the la lites is what is going t o help them lose weight. If the client tells them they cannot bulk t hey play on thier emotions and make them feel guilty about not purchasing them and tell them they are not serious about th eir weight loss.
Nobody that works for the company is medically certified. Every time the clients come in for a visit they always recommend them to buy other things. La weight loss is changing their name to pure weight loss. Beware and do no t join!
They are a scam and they will try to take you for everything you got they donot ca re about your weight loss all they want is your m oney. If you are looking for employment do not look their you will be sorry wh en you realize what they are really about. You ca nnot trust no one in this company!
