Like everyone's story ours is the same. We were approached in the mall when my daughter was 4 months old. We waiting until she was 9 months and made our appointment for her "evaluation." Well feeling a little uNeasy when we pulled up to SUITE 9 and see NO sign anywhere for this company. BUT I didnt go with my instincts. We go in and meet with Ms. Aviva Skall (tall skinny girl with light eyes and DARk brown hair, she has olive skin color) and she WINES AND DINES US. She shows us a toy box with a kids picture on it that they got him signed with some company. Made it seem really believable. Tells us that we pay for her pictures and once we get a call that there are no auditions the job would be ours. My husband asked her if they make commision off the jobs. They said no.
So at this point she whips out her bag of tricks to hype the company up. And we are still falling for this B/S. She then lets us know the cost for the packages.
We got suckered into buying the $700.00 package for 1 headshot and 1 photo, and while my husband and I are trying to think about it Ms. Skall is telling us what and "opportunity" it will be and she has to set her appt. Up for the photo because if we dont we will lose the chance.
During this point my 9 month old has a dirty diaper so I then change her diaper and Ms. Skall runs my credit card through. THEN tells us afterwards there are NO REFUNDS! And the BLIND SIDED US WITH A CONTRACT and as my husband wants to review this contract she is heckling him and keeps saying how great this opportunity with be. He then signs under pressure. WE then leave. A 1/2 hour later we call and tell them we want to cancel, we were advised to call in the morning and ask for Keisha and Stacy. We then call credit card and cancel.
Well the morning is here and after searching the internet all night I have realized we have been scammed and it was nothing but B/S. I read all of these reports. I called Consumer Affairs and find out they have over 82 complaints against them. I call the "Industry" in the morning and the recptionist claims Stacy and Keisha are not in and she doesn't know anything. I call the detective from that town and they say they ahve COMPLAINTS EVERYDAY.
So needless to say I am still trying to seek out justice. I have emailed Kirsten Cole from CBS Shame on you. I even went as far as emailing the Oprah Winfrey show. I filed a complaint with Consumer Affairs and sent all supporting documents to the Bergen Coun ty District Attorney's Office.
One day these SICK people will get there's in the end—10 fold. These people deserve to be behind bars. I dont know how anyine can sleep at night knowing they are robbing innocent people.
Anyone looking into using this company PLEASE do your homework first. And call a reputable company. Wilamenia, Ford and Ellite. Dont make the same mistake we did. And for those of you still seeking justice I hope we all win our money back and just remember if we dont. SOONER THEN LATER this will catch up these poeple and JUSTICE WILL BE SERVED!
