Please be warned. I suggest you refrain from this company and do not do any business with them. I first submitted my request thru movers.com website and someone contacted me offering me the best professional service and good price.
On the day of the move, 06/10, I was surprised to know that they do not have their own trucks. They rented a 'Penske' truck to move my stuff. Imagine that - a movers company without a truck. The quote was $880 as I have a very small apartment. The move is from Naperville to Virginia - about 750 miles, which will hardly take 2 days. I gave them a date after one week and they said they'll deliver on the day, 06/16. Well I waited the whole day and no one turned up on June 16th. I called the company repeatedly and guess what information they have for me "They do not have any update for me and don't even know when its going to arrive". They don't even know where my stuff is right now. I spoke to Jeff and another lady 'Arwa'. Both of them do not have any info. They always told me that they'll call me back with information, but no one ever called me back with any information. I also spoke to Ted, who is the owner of the company.
I have called the company everyday for more than 10 days and always the answer I get it 'we do not have any information'. They say that in a very rude manner, Jeff, Mike and Ted particularly. I suspect that its the same person using different name every time.
They initially estimated my stuff to be 1400lbs. After the move, they changed the estimate to 2000 lbs and they told me that they'll charge me based on the 'actual weight' and this is only estimate. They told me they'll show me legal proof for the weight tickets. They NEVER did.
