USBI - Been Ripping Me Off for 10 Months! Check This OUT!

It was brought to my attention from At&t that I was being charged for additional long distance in a voice mail I received from them last week. I got online and checked my bill and USBI / Mainstreet Telephone Company has been billing me $15.53 for the last 10 months and I didn't notice it.

I called At&t and they put a dispute on that portion of my bill but said to get reimbursed I needed to contact them directly. So I contacted them and it sends you to some company that pulls up your number and the lady says my bill is with Mainstreet Telephone Company I will transfer you there. (That leads me to believe there are many names for this company.) After a short wait a guy named Nick answers the phone and the first thing he says is "what months of service are you disputing?" (already Guilty???) I explain that I just noticed I had been billed for 10 months for a long distance plan that I never asked for and wanted to be reimbursed. He hung up on me and so I called back and this time I asked for a direct number to Mainsteet it is 888-503-5377

I get a different guy this time and I ask for a reimbursement. He says I have to contact Corporate by mail P.O. Box 1566, Blue Bell, PA, 19422 or by email [email protected] and then he hung up on me.

At this point I'm pretty hot so I call again and ask for a supervisor. I speak with a guy named John he says he is the supervisor and confirms the adress and email with me. He also said the representatives can reimburse 2 months of charges and the supervisors can authorize a reimbursement of up to 3 months of charges immediatly. (which I did receive) Anything over that has to delt with at Corporate.

There is no number they can give you for Corporate. He said you had to write a letter and request it. He also said to make sure that I receivecd my cancellation number from the Rep. (I did) I emailed and mailed a letter today demanding my reimbursement or legal action would take place if not reconciled within 30 days.
