Contract for notray work, they get paid, but don't pay notaries, refuse to answer calls

This company owes me for work I did as far back as Sept. 2006. I worked for them until the end of May, assuming there was just some confusion.

I have received only one check and that was my smallest invoice (Feb. 2007) They owe me approx. $1,800. I have filed with the BBB (that is when they sent the $210 check for Feb.) They have an "F" rating! Their response was a lie, stating that they had no other invoices.

I have sent them copies numerous times and will continue to resubmit the bills each month until paid.

I have seen so many complaints stated on the internet, as well as on this site, it makes me have little confidence that I will ever get paid. You have complaints listed under both Sign on the X and SOX Signing Solutions. They operate under both names.

I think an attorney somewhere should contact all people expressing a problem getting paid from this organization and file a class action suit!

I spoke with someone at the National Notary Assn. And was informed that this co. Is no longer allowed to access to their web listings of all US certified NNA Member Notaries, because of so many complaints.

The NNA person I spoke with also inferred that any company contracting with and not paying so many people might simply be intentionally commiting a crime.

At the least... This company should be exposed as a fraud to all of the reputable lenders who use their services. Someone stated that possibly the IRS should look into whether or not they pay taxes on the $ they collect, but don't pay to the contracted Notaries.

I have tried every angle. I am not a vendictive person, and have tried to be very pleasant, hoping they would respond... But to no avail.

Seems they are just way in over their heads now. They have had several "turn-overs" in the Finance Dept. Recently.incidentally, they don't respond to emails or phone calls and refuse to give out contact information for anyone above Missy Dobbs, the newly promoted President of Operations. She is very pleasant, but I believe doesn't have the authority to make things happen. She is just the "bridge to nowhere"!
