I am a student (and still is) in city of San Francisco.
I opened up a account with Blue Whales Publications last year which was 2006. I was only informed that the contract will last for 2 years (which ends in 2008). Today i received a phone call from the company, informing me that i have some payments to make (i was out of town, so i couldnt check up with my bills). I agreed to pay and i asked the teller when the contract ends, and surprisingly, i was informed that my contract ends in 2012.
I was just surfing through internet to find a website for Blue Whales publication to file somekind of complaints, and when i searched through google, surprisingly i found another person (Rocky, Arkansas) in a same situation with me filing over same "rip off" situation.
I'm now [] this close to refuse to make a payment and start filing a law suit for their lack of providing information and also tweaking the contract on their own. I also found out that i have 2 accounts opened up under my name (NOT 1, BUT 2!!).
Can anyone help me to get rid of them for good...?
