Sunday June 17th I asked a customer rep in store if they matched prices of other stores in the area. The rep said yes, we match all stores in the area, just bring in a sales flyer.
Today I went back with a sales flyer and the manager said they do not match that store. I asked why and she told me that it wasn't in the area. The store in question has a location in Fort Worth and in Arlington. The item on question was a LCD TV AAFES had for $3299 and the store ad I brought in was for $2399. I wouldn't have been so angry if I had been told this the day before.
Yes I could have bought the TV at the other store, but they would have charged in $200 in sales taxes. AAFES is not supposed to charge sales tax.
I tried to get online with AAFES in Dallas, but can't get thru into their system. I tried to call customer service and they are only manned from 0730-4pm cst.
If this is my taxes at work?
