Speaking to Joshua the General Manager. Would not give me the last name.

Here is the history of the issue to current date.

Received Quote from this company to move me from Pittsfield, MA to Charlotte, NC for pick up 7-24-02. Spoke to Sandi. It was based on an estimated 303 cubic feet at a Flat rate of $3.25 a cubic foot. I also said that I didn't have the final delivery address and Sandi said give that to the drivers when they pick up. Went through the entire list of items I moved and nothing was mentioned about any additional charges or having to have any moneys up front. I was told that I would receive a call from the drivers 24hrs in advance to let me know a time.

7/23/02 5pm Made a call to make sure things were on track as I have not heard anything from drivers. Spoke to the GM Joshua and said they would be there in the morning and at that time he said make sure you have 50% up front and That was never mentioned or agreed to. Ha lengthy conversation on the Sales rep Sandi that didn't mention anything to that effect. Again we went through the list of things I have to move specifically mention my Big Screen TV and nothing was mentioned at that time for any additional cost to move that.

7/24/02 8:50am Called to get the time frame of when the movers will be here. The window I was given of 8-12 by Joshua the day before and drivers were to call with an exact time. The dispatcher said he would call them on the cell and have them call me.

7/24/02 9:30am Drivers Called and said they would be 3-4 hrs away and would call back within the Hour for directions.By 11am still no call by drivers.

7/24/02 1:14pm Called back to the 1-800-310-0056 and spoke to Joshua to see when the drivers would arrive. Joshua said they would be here any Minute. The Finally showed up at 2:30pm.

They showed up and Said that I did a horrible job with packing my boxes and the would all need to be repacked and that each roll of tape will cost $3.00. Also said they can not move my TV with out it being in Packed and that will cost an additional $180.00 and that was never mentioned. Also they said that My furniture (couch, tables and things) have to be wrapped in blankets but that is free but the tap they use to wrap them is not. Also I had them take a look to give me a better estimate oh what kind of Cubic Feet I have and he said he can't really tell until it's loaded on the truck. So I asked because I have a flat rate that if it goes over the quoted Cubic feet it still remains at $3.25 a cubic feet and he said no over the quoted amount go to $4.00 a cubic feet. So Finally after loading I went from a quote of $984 to the final price of 1650 and had to give 50% up front. I filled out all the paper work and gave them my delivery address of BROOKSHIRE MINI STORAGE 5701 Brookshire BLVD Charlotte, NC 28216. The movers told me that it will take 7-14 days to deliver so make my earliest possible I can take my belongings around 7 days. I asked for Del on 8-02.

7/30/02 9:30am Called and spoke to Joshua and asked for a status of my delivery and he said he would be he no later than 8/6/02.

8/01/02 4: pm Called and again spoke to Joshua and he said "Oh that's about 4-5 days away from del. Said the Movers would be driving during the weekend. Also said that the drivers would call 24hrs in advance.

8/6/02 9:15am Called and again spoke to Joshua and he said "oh we can have that there by the end of the week" I just lost it and said that is unacceptable. I asked him where my stuff is and he wouldn't answer. I asked him who he reports to and he said he is the big chief but he is only the General Manager. Then he looked closer on my paper work and said you don't even have a del address on here. Then how can he keep telling me 4-5 days. I told him Sandi said I just need to give the address to the movers and he said no that's not how it works. Then I told him he has had my stuff for 15 days they said no longer than 14 days for del. He said that is 14 days from my earliest possible del date. I told him that's not what the movers said. I told him I was going to contact the BBB and he said do what ever you have to do. He seems to have no concern at all.

My Issue is that they will not tell me when I will get my stuff or even where it is right now.
