I heard all the noise about this moving company but I didn't realize these were the people I was already booked with to move my place.
Being real, the dude I talked with told me about the rate. That was not my problem. What I didnt like was the fact that my rate went up because of my race. There was a white dude in front of me and he got a totally different rate than I did and I was moving closer and had less stuff than he did.
I got up to the counter and the dude looked at me as if he'd never seen an african american before and then he asked for my driver's license and then he asked if it was suspended or not. He also asked if I had ever been arrested, what the hell does that have to do with moving?
I just got really mad and I told the dude I wanted to see a manager and he was like " Your looking at him". I knew something wasnt right about this place so I looked them up and I found all of this other BS.
