Telephone service ripoff

The pay phone at the SeaTac Airport did not accept coins, only accept credit cards. The instruction on the phone advertised that it is only $1.00 for 4 minutes, long distance call. I made one call that last less than 4 minutes. The company charged me $12.14. I called them (the number on my credit card bill), they said that the charge included some other fees. They should have disclosed or warned consumers other fees might be applied.

If you need to use the pay phone, it is safer to buy prepaid phonecard because you know how much you pay upfront.
