One of Lifestyle Benefits would be to live a "Debt Free" life. However, some debts are considered "good" debt, such as Mortgage or a Car Loan when we are able to make on-time monthly payments.
As we know, especially in America, many of us live a life of having substantial (unsecured) debts — Typically having $30K - $50K of debts
Regardless, of the reasons why we get ourselves into (substantial) debt, some of us need to seek debt management services to avoid bankruptcy or other legal ramifications.
Unfortunately, we are one those people who sought help & chose a debt settlement service "help" us.
Here's a quick story of a Debt Settlement Service that we hired. Now, I can't vouch for other Debt Settlement services & their practices, but being a former client of Lawgistix, LLC, we can vouch against them.
Lawgistix is a debt settlement service who "claims" they can reduce debts 30% - 60% through its debt negotiation practices & advertise as being a "last resort" to bankruptcy.
Without getting to much into detail, here is a quick synopsis of the financial hardships that Lawgistix has caused us directly or indirectly with their inefficient "debt negotiating practices":
4 Judgments against us
4 Bank accounts to be frozen
Forced to file bankruptcy anyway, which was something that my wife & I were desperately trying to avoid
Estimated loss of $13,500 of additional expenses or losses
Permanently tarnished credit history
& a number of other financial hardships
There are numerous complaints against Lawgistix, LLC. The Illinois Attorney General Office has gone after Lawgistix
