I have worked for mike fillmore (the manager of shoprite in bound brook nj) for 5 months now, and i am totally disgusted with the way the store is beig ran. The store is full of sexist, racest, volger, disgusting indaviduals. From the store manager all the way down to other employees. The store is being run on a system of personal freinships among the higher archy, acompanied with personal favors. Mr. Fillmore as he is known throughout the store is a sexist pig who reguarly is cought watching the female employees bend over and comenting along with the stores assistant managers.
The employees that are recognized by the store are either male or femals who do not mind getteng verry close to the male management. There are many employees who have been with the company for many years and are still working on the level of newcomer part-timers. The person who is supposed to handle employee relations (Rachiel) is a stupid blond who BLOWS any employee off who tries to complain about management. Mike fillmore can mostly be found in his office with the door locked, only coming out to criticise or talk down to his employees.
Alot of the people who work for this storeeither are not legal citizans ore need the job to the point that they are afraid of losing it. It is almost impossible to become a full-time employee, and that is the only way to be considered for a trnsfer. I personally have been tying to transfer for a couple of months now and fillmore just makes jokes about us spending time together. He has touched me inaproprietly quit a few times, and i have been told that im not the only one. Ive tried to file complaints with racheal but she tells me that he gets freindly ever so often. I just wonder how freindly the two of them really are together.
This hurts and sickens me to know that a man who has five beutifull doughters can do this to female employees. This is a verry serious matter that needs to be handled ASAP, But it probably will not get far becouse as far as i know he is well liked among the company and the employess who work for him are afraid of consiquences from speaking out. I hope that something can be done about this problem but if not i will go to work tomorrow with my head held high content with the fact that i have been heard.
