I commonly shop at Target. Over the last year I probably spent $1,500 at their stores. However, when my car got broken into while I was shopping at the store in Orange, CA, they refused to pay for the damage to the car and the stolen property. Their policy is to only pay for claims with negligence on their side. Target didn't have any surveillance footage of the incident, even though my car was parked in the official parking lot (their property).in my opinion, not having cameras in the parking lot is negligent. I will not shop at Target any more since they do not seem to value my business. I also discourage everybody to stay away from the store in Orange, CA. Apparently that store is not safe and nobody likes to have their car broken into.
