I had recieved a letter in the mail claiming I had won 2,633, 800.00 dollars but felt something was wrong. The document is 2 pages long but gives you very little information. There is no listed way to contact them.
The first thing I noticed was: I have to pay them. They wanted $9.95, which is less than other similar fraud reports I have found on this site. The second: It claimed to be an official document but it's not. An official company would have documents specially designed for them. This document was poorly put together. Many of the images were pixelated including their "official seal" and decorative borders. The grammer was poor and while the language used mimicked legal jargon, it was incorrect. The third: there are three different signatures on the document 2 of which have the name typed underneath but none of them have a title identifying their position in the "company" (i.E. President of, Secretary of, etc).
When I suspected the document was false I tried to find the company online with no luck. Upon typing the address in I found 2 reports on this site about the same company using the same scam. I then went to http://www.ftc. Gov (The Federal Trade Commission's website) and reported the company. I then came back to this site to add my report to the ones already here. I did not lose any money on this scam but others have and others may still. Hopefully this will help someone like it helped me, or it might get an investigation rolling on this "company". Either one is better than neither one.
