I purchased a 10 day Paragliding Adventure Tour package that was to include transportation to & from the airport as well as the local flying sites, hotel (breakfast included) and guide introductions to the flying sites.
Upon arrival, I was told by the driver and hotel manager that the transportaion and hotel were not paid for, that the hotel was overbooked and I would have to find accommodations for the last 7 days and my guide (Alec Gordon) had left the country for passport reasons. Of course he would return at the end of the following week, the day I was leaving. I had to pay again for all that was to be included in this tour.
I never did see Alec during my stay and many of us requested refunds which he refuses to give. The local hotel manager as well as several other locals have told my group that Alec has a drug & alcohol problem.
We are all trying our best to file fraud complaints with our credit card companies & PayPal. I have noticed that recently Alec made changes to his web site. He now only excepts bank wire transfers only.
There are over 12 of us who were taken for a total of more than $10,000 by Alec Gordon.
BE VERY AWARE! Don't bank wire this man any money, you will not be able to get it back.
