Purchased an above ground pool. After installation, bottom became smushy and began to sink due to too much sand. They replaced liner one year after service call was placed but destroyed all but 4 clips, removed sand and replaced liner on rock filled dirt which over time cut several holes in the bottom of liner..
The old sand we paid for was taken. Sand was left on inside of pool wall under liner and cut pin sized holes around entire pool. Bottom was not level and caused creasing in liner. We were told by installer that these problems were not his responsibility and recreational factory warehouse said they were not responsible for installers work. Fought for 2 years and got nothing..
Called another pool company who surveyed the work and told us it was the worst job he had ever seen and was not surprised when we told him who did it. He rcommended it all be redone. He works for a little company in a small town and his work cost less and was far superior to the mighty recreational factory warehouse. Do not be suckered in by their prices. They can be beat and their service can be topped by a five year old on caffeine and ice cream
