I called about working for fantastic sams, brockport ny. The owner who was very nice told me to come the next day for an interview. I went and she offered me a try, no guarantee! I started that sat and wasnt even allowed to fill out the tax forms, legal right to work documents, etc. I worked for 5 and a half hrs and she paid me by personal check 40% of my sales. She then told me if she was going to hire me. Shed call the next day. She never called! Fantastic sams international doesnt condone paying commission only, does not allow appts (i watched the owner schedule appts weeks in advance.) and what if i got hurt while working? Id have no protection since i wasnt actually working for fantastic sams! Stylists, please avoid salons like this one! If they dont offer you a job and put you on the books, beware!!!
