My story is much the same; I have sent $11.000 that I borrowed from a college account for my kids, almost all of the savings.

I received a document on November 27. This document has a heading of
IN THE UNITED STATED PATENT AND TRADEMARK OFFICE
It must be a receipt for the filing of a form PTO/SB/16 PROVISIONAL APPLICATION FOR PATENT COVER SHEET (2 PAGES) FORM P T I / SB / 17 fee transmittal form (page) SPECIFICATIONS (5) ONE (1) SHEET OF INFORMAL DRAWING
FILING FEE (CHECK # 1507 FOR $100.00.

I attempted to verify the authenticity of the receipt with no success.

There must be something against falsification of P T O forms; it is a federal form is it not? That would be like falsification of money!

Because I have questions on this document I started attempts to communicate with the company to get a patent number for what was filed. Since January I have not been able to make contact, by phone or e/mail I have also sent correspondence and I have not heard from them.
I now know I have been a victim also, I will be filing with P T O and Attorney General

I have been reading what all of you have to say and my hopes are out the window, I will have to look for a second job to make up for what they have stolen.
