S ripoff Claims to provide 60 verified annuity appointments for $2000 None of the appts were any good

Complaint: The company claims to provide pre-scheduled appointments using pre-qualified senior individuals who are interested in discussing their options for their annuity and IRA investments. The scheduler would set the
appointment one day in advance and call to let me know the person's name, address and phone number. Of the five people that I visited, three were not home, one had no investments (she lived on social security) and the other
told me that he just knew that I was at the wrong house. I was extremely embarrassed and ashamed. I complained three times to the company about my concerns. I told them that on the first occasion, no one was home but I
later called the client. She told me that she had not intended on being home, she did not make an appointment and would prefer if I did not call her again. I was told by my scheduler, that this was an unusual situation
and generally clients are home. On the second appointment that I went on no one was home. I expressed my concerns and was told that I would get another
scheduler to ensure that my appointments would be kept. I told the company that on the third occasion, the lady did let me in but said that she really did not know what the telephone call was about. She said she lived on social security and could not afford my services. The fourth time no one was as at home. I called the company the fifth time when the prospective client told me that he knew that I was at the wrong house because he told the person who called the day before that he wasn't interested in having someone discuss anything with him. I was extremely embarrassed and ashamed.

This time, I asked for my money back. I was told me that I was supposed to have a female scheduler the next week and was assured that she would do a better job of scheduling.By this time I really did not want to waste
any more time visiting clients because of the drain on my time and the wasted gas for my car. I was told that the company did not give refunds but would replace any appointments that were a no show. There is no place on
the contract where it states that it does not have a refund policy. Also, I talked to a sales representative with the company several times before deciding to go with the company. I visited the Better Bureau website and told him about my concerns. I was told that the website was not up to date and that all the company's clients had been taken care of. He also told me that the company had experienced some problems and that they
were not able to take credit card payments, therefore I needed to send a check. (This could be a strategy because if payments are made through a credit card company it is easier to have them handle problems, and maybe they didn't want this hassle. Also, another person became very defensive when I said that I had viewed the info on the BBB website. She said that if I was that suspicious of them perhaps I should not do business with them. I told her that I did not know about her company and I needed to talk with them about what I read. Mr. % told me to call 2 representatives with the company and get their opinions, they also provided me with 72
appointments instead of the usual 60. I believed they were trying build a bridge toward goodwill. That is until I started to experience what happened above. I feel that this company is now and is continuing to provide extremely awful service. It is indeed a shame that they can continue to advertise on the internet. I tried to do my due diligence by reviewing the BBB website and talking to their representatives before making a purchase.

However, the company already had their lies in place in order to stump the public. They need to be stopped. I should have followed my instincts and not listened to them as they made their case but should have gone by what I read on the BBB website.
