I bought a teacup yorkie form her in June and when I recieved her. She was dirty and smelled. I took her right away to the vets. She has ear mites pretty bad. Everything checked out at that time. We continued with all the routine checkups. Naturally we fell in love with little Ruby at first sight. I had just lost my grandmother and named her after her. Little Ruby was my best friend she was my thrid child.
Ruby had vomiting and runny bowel movements and I thought that it was just cause she was in a new place. I even called Brenda about it. I bought her Royal Cain puppy 33 made for yorkies took her back to the vets she was put on medication to settle her tummy. After she was taken off the meds she seemed a bit better. But then she started having mucus and blood in her stools. I took her to the vets right away. They told me to keep her on the meds longer and see what happens then. Still no change so we had to put her on gerber rich cereal for babies that helped with the meds. All long she stoped barking and became a puppy that didn't act like a puppy she would just lay with me in my lap. I didnt mind cause she was my baby. I just thought she liked to snuggle.
Then she started having seizers we rushed her to a night time vet. She had to be admitted they told dont count on her making thur the night. But my little girl was a fighter she made it. They told us that she has a liver problem could be a liver shunt. I only wish thats what it was. So we take her to have an abdominal ultra scan and the vet there tells me and my 4year old that its not a liver shunt. That she liver is abnormal and the blood doesnt flow thur her body that way it should and they could do exploratory surgery but because she is so small and not getting her food the right way she wouldnt make it thur the surgery so he suggest just enjoy what time you have left with her.
Well I asked how long did they thing she would have. He told me they couldnt be sure but to put her on seinor dog food with little as possible proteine. So we did and kept her on her meds. Well cause of the blood flow it started afectting her brain and she would just fall over or walk like she was lost. We would call her and she wouldnt respond anymore. She got so weak that she couldnt even hold her head up. So I called my vet and took her in last wed.
After being checked out my vet told me she was suffering and I knew what i needed to do. It was the worse thing I have ever had to do. I love that little girl. I stayed with her till she was gone and to make it worse they couldnt get a vein so they had to go thur her heart. I cried the whole time and am so sorry my little Ruby. We had her creamted and I have her ashes. I cant bear to be without her. I have never felt this way about another pet. She was my baby. Now she is gone.
But I bet Brenda will have a merry christmas wish we could say the same I cant stop crying. My kids are depressed and we are out a whole lot of money. Please dont buy a puppy from her I wish i would have known now what I knew then. She is avoiding me wont call me back. Wont return emails. She is nothing but a puppy mill. She gets her puppys form puppy mills and all she cares about is the mighty dollar. Please dont put another child thur the hurt that mine and myself are going thur.
My vet told me that the problems that Ruby had the whole litter will have. So am sure there are others out there you need to come forward please for my little Rubys sake. So that her death wasnt in vein.
