Don't take your pet here!!!
This is my story and experience with Hamilton Animal hospital. On October 25th. I took my beloved dog into Hamilton, animal hospital he had an infection in his right front Leg... They told me when I made the appointment that all charges would have to be paid, in cash and in full. (absolute and utter greed. It's the money for them they don't care about the animals that they're supposed to care for). It just goes to show what the morality of our medical professionals is now... They only care about their wallets. When I scheduled the appointment, I was told they would help me get Cyrus out of my truck because he is a Mastiff 135 lbs. They did not help me they just stood around and watched me struggle getting Cyrus out of the truck (more unprofessional and shallow promises) and total lack of concern for the animals.
The doctor saw Cyrus, and diagnosed an infection in his right front leg and prescribed antibiotics... I paid my $43 office visit charge in cash and again they watched me struggle to get Cyrus back in the truck to take him home. I got Cyrus home and started to care for him over the next couple of days he gradually improved on Saturday I contacted the doctor again and asked if he could prescribe a stronger antibiotic that had a wider range, which he did and I picked up the second prescription at Costco... On Tuesday, October 31. I contacted Hamilton, animal hospital and requested refills on both prescriptions. Their response was, they would not call in refills on the medications until I paid my $43 office visit charge, which they said was outstanding, and they could not verify I paid the $43 office visit charge... (naturally I paid the $43 on Wednesday, the 25th or they would not have let me leave with Cyrus. (I'm sure they would have called the police, if I left without paying) here is the bottom line for Hamilton animal hospital. And most medical professionals today, if you can't pay us. You're a dead man, or for that matter, a dead dog/animal. What has happened to the morality of medical professionals today? In previous years, they were more concerned about saving lives than the thickness of their wallets and the size of their bank accounts or how many Mercedes-Benz. They drive. What a sad shame, and I find it personally disgusting. Medical professionals today are a bunch of greedy bastards. And nothing more or less than that.
Cyrus died Saturday, November 4th. I believe, if I would of had the appropriate medical care. From Hamilton, animal hospital in the beginning. Cyrus would have survived.
What a sad sad world we live in today.
