My tax return was differnt the theirs they had on their computers and cost me money. They denied any they were at fault

I had a problem with the intuit corporation. I did my taxes with them this year and the numbers I got on my return were different then the return that was sent to the fed and state. I was told by there software I was due a $659 federal return and had to pay a $280 tax bill.

I checked my bank account and saw a $515 return and got a bill for $355 for my tax bill. I wrote a detailed letter to the company stating my problem. I also told them that I requested to have bill sent to me for my state tax bill. Their software screwed something up and sent to the state to the okay take money out of my bank account and cost me some money of over draft fees and I bounced a check because of it.

I spoke to lady name Vanessa Valenzuela in the customer care dept. She told me it could be anything after reading my letter. She looked at my return and said there was 2 sign on id's on my account and that could be the problem. I said 1 was for my mom's return, different returns not my problem. The other one was the software didn't finish up dating, when I printed out my return. I printed out my return 1 week after I finished it I told them they were the same #s 1 week later (I recently checked my return again as a of 10/31/06 and the numbers are still $659 and 280 tax bill).

The lady Vanessa to sent me off to a gentleman in the name Philip Schaffer in the accuracy guarantee dept. He request me to send off certain paper work to him to help clear up this matter I faxed off all that was requested of me. He made me wait 4 weeks and told me I made a mistake and sent me the part of my return where they said I had a mistake. I didn't match what I had on my return.

When I called back to explained that their software was made a mistake Mr. Schaffer got real upset I was told by Mr. Schaffer that their software doesn't correct mistakes but according to their numerous commercials during tax season they guarantee 100 accuracy. I have paper work here that proves that something was wrong some where between my computer and their server.
