I will simply attach all the emails to this company concerning the most horrific move experience of my life (30yrs military been around the world and back several times)

Below is the first one (July 5th, 06) It was never responded to.

Let me start by saying this was the most stressfull and unorganized move I have ever had.

First finances, we agreed upon a binding estimate of $6477.33, this included packing/unpacking of my mattresses shown on estimate at $281.76. Reviewing my BOL I was charged $6910.34 which included $221.21 added on for mattress packing and unpacking. My Master bedroom King was not even boxed and showed up with a large cut in it. As did the baby bed mattress.

Also, included in estimate and by you verbally were 13 miscellaneous boxes as needed. The guys showed up with none and I had to go out and purchase additional boxes during moving for $78.00.

The take down and put back together of beds was amusing as your men showed up with no tools and used mine, I ended up taking the futon bed apart as it was to hard. Upon arrival in Georgia I reassembled ALL beds due to lack of help and the delivery was entering its 3rd DAY!!! After being a day late to start with.

Once loading was finished I was left with an empty house and a full trailer unlocked sitting in front of my house Wes the driver called to say he would pick up in two hours. I spent the night on the floor waiting, while family went to hotel. I was not leaving everything I own sitting on the road unlocked all night, he arrived the next morning about 10am to pick it up, again Thanks.

I was called on Friday and told the saturday delivery was moved to sunday, Leaving me in an empty house with 3 kids and an infant. I requested to speak to someone and was told Nick was in charge but he was busy and would call me IM STILL WAITING.

The truck arrived on Sunday at 9am within an hour the guys wanted drinks etc... Sorry Im in an empty house, they unhooked cab all 3 left and came back an hour later said they were sick and spent the remainder of the day in cab, leaving twice again. Only the driver Scott attempted to unload anything the first day we basically had a garage full of boxes only.

I paid for them 2 hotel rooms that night hoping they could rest recover and return the following morning ready to go. We agreed they would come at 6:30-7am They arrived back at 9:40 am with only two guys working Scott and Kyle and they did bust their butts but this is not a two man job. I had my children help with small things my son and I help with the Large items. I assembeld furniture as needed. This was finally over at about 8pm on Monday night.

We have listed our damaged goods on the sheets as the driver instructed, we have since found that our refridgerator door water and Ice feed controls were broken when they took doors off incorrectly. How do i proceed with damage claim. ALSO I WOULD LIKE MY BILL CORRECTED FOR PACKING CHGS NOT DUE, LABOR I PROVIDED, HOTEL BILLS, AND MY PERSONAL INCONVIENCES.

Please be aware that the delivery driver scott and his one man keith/kyle worked as hard as any man could but this was not a two man job.

OK, all that said I never received a response until I called them for about three days straight at which point they mailed me a claim form. (a month later) This is where it gets real fun.

A month after they get my claim form they tell me they are sending someone to verify damage, which was already verified and noted on bill of lading by ThEYRE driver? This guy shows up two weeks later. And 3 weeks after that we get an offer of $300 the same amount we paid extra for full replacement insurance HMMM???

I will now attach my response to their offer,

Your kidding RIGHT. You should really review our previous conversations,
you already told me you would send me a check for the Hotel bills $140.00 the
over charge for packing $275. And the boxes I had to buy because your guys did
not bring any 70.00, THATs already $485.00. You had said the "committee"
reviewed first.

The damages to my goods are to be covered by the insurance sold to me by your
salesman, who state and I quote "If we break your TV we will buy you a new one
at todays price, period, but we never have to do that because we our guys are
so good they are military movers"

That being said I understand the deductible, but I want my King Mattress
replaced not repaired, the Jokes that you sent to my house to look at damage
(which had already been verified and noted by your driver) showed up couldnt
even work their camera, borrowed batteries from my wife and tracked red mud
all over my white carpet (which they did apologize for and come back to clean)
? Said they didnt know about refrigerators and didnt even look at it, it does
have visible damage and doesnt work because of it. The hose for the water was
broken off in the door and the wiring harness was ripped out of the top. The
damage is VERY obvious. I also expect to be compensated for having to assemble
all of my own goods after arrival, due to your inability to do so and this was
also supposed to be provided.

This has been drug out by your company an excessive amount of time and needs
resolved now.
The beyond pitiful service initially provided was bad enough, the service after
is showing a company wide blatant disregard for customer during and after the
move.

Not one single thing I was promised by your salesman has come to pass.

I would like to speak with the Owner of Florida Van Lines to ensure he/she is
directly aware of this situation which is now dragging into its 4th month.

I have done everything asked of me, to include you have been paid in full.
You have not completed your end. This offer to basically just return the
monies paid for the insurance and leave me stuck with damaged goods and poor
service is not acceptable.

WEll Guess What Still no response, I cant get to the owner to let him know these people are destoying his reputation.

It is now October 16th and still no responses.

So i sent them two more Emails see below

You asked me to put comments in writing I respected that and have done so.
This is the 3rd email sent since your settlement offer with no response. I
requested the name of the company owner and contact information, I disputed
the offer, I sent a follow up email requested a response. I have been polite,
proffesional and since JUNE it is now October. I start vacation tommorrow and
will begin calling every number and every person with Fla Van lines / Mid State
until this is resolved.

I have not heard back from you and would like to know what is going on at
this point. I have also copied from your website the below statement which we
are aparently no longer following.

Guess What Still being ignored.

If you would like your goods broken, delivery and pickup a disaster, get lied to and ignore Florida Van Lines is the company of choice.

All I want from them is an apology for bad service, and to be compensated for my broken goods minus the $500 deductible, and a refund for the services that were not done.
