I am SOOOO Glad that I found this site, and too find out that I am not the only one this person has "SCAMMED"! I received a male buff cockapoo puppy for my brithday that came from this breeder. My boyfried paid $900.00 for this dog, that was SUPPOSSED to be healthy and perfect, which he was NOT by any means. He was purchased on a Saturday and given to me the following day after church, Sunday as my 26 birthday present.
Anyway, On Monday, I took this puppy into the vet and the puppy was diagnosed with GIARDIA INTESTINAL VIRUS AND COCCIDIOSIS INTESTINAL CONDITION! The worst my vet had ever seen! He was throwing up, had loose bloody diarhhea, wouldn't eat and simply moaned and groaned all the night before. We knew something was wrong with him, so immediately the next morning, on Monday we took him in right away. He was dehydrated, put on IV Fluids, and receivingd aily antibiotics to offset his condition. We were told he may not make it due to the severity of the condition. My boy Thomas emailed Karla, the breeder, and told her about the condition, diagnosis, and vet treatments, etc., she emailed him back, and stated that the puppy was sold not being covered by those conditions at all, and the puppy was still alive, so with us having an alive pupy at that time, what more did we want or expect for her to do regarding the matter! Thomas asked for help with the vet bills, she rudely declined, said he new the contract paperwork, signed it accordingly, and there was nothing more that she was going to say on the matter. Like the other person on this report, we too contact the state board, and told them of the matter, and they too told us that there is NO regulation of breeders for the state of washington, so therefore the breeders there can simply sell sick puppies and not be held accountable for it. The person even went as far to make the comment to Thomas, that we should not have purchased a puppy sight unseen! Our puppy stayed a total of 9 days in ICU at the clinic, and then went home, thank the Lord where we could finish his treatment and care, for days after that we still endored the stinch of the stools he had, had to replace our carpet in the living room, and could basically have anyone come over until he was cleared totally of the condition.
We were told that both conditions could be contracted by humans from sick puppies, and we were literally scared to death. WE don't have any other dogs in our home whatsoever, and live in a nice neighborhood. This puppy in the two days after he was pruchased did not come in contact with anyone but us, thank God, so we were relieved no one else would get sick. I did develope a stomach problem, had diarrhea and throwing up myself for three days after we had the pup admitted to the vet clinic! Luckily both myself and DOUGIE came through the ordeal and are happy and well now. He is a thriving 6 month old puppy now!
I found out through talking with some other buyers that this lady lets her dogs run together in her back yard, and then keeps themin kennels in the back. My boyfriend, even found message boards of how this breeder was going through a rough time with her husband, on the brink of divorce, used vulgar language, etc. I'm not judgeing her by her words, or her personal situation at all, I am simply saying that some people are NOT what they make themselfs out too be, especially this BREEDER, and she is out for for the money and nothing else! She will not reimburse for vet bills, even though the condition Dougie had was vet documented to have originated from her place/breeding facility! Both conditions are from a filthy living envirnment, unsanitary conditions. I will be happy to supply links of the information on the condition as well as copies of my vet records to anyone wishing to see what we had to go through to get DOUGIE healthy! The vet bills alone came to a total of $681.79!!! Not cheap by no means especially when we paid $900.00 for him plus the cost of shipping!
Please do NOT buy from this breeder, she will lie to you in order to get the sale, do not endorse her way of life at all. Do not buy the sick puppies from her. I wish we had known about her prior to getting Dougie, we love him dearly and wouldn't dare send him back too her or anyone, but if we had known her sell of sick puppies, my boyfriend would have simply thought twice about the purchase, anyone would have. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BREEDER, she is a SCAMMER! Sells sick puppies for a profit, how awful of a person!
