My husband and I decided to adopt a maltipoo that we saw on amandaspuppies.com on Mon Dec 7 from Amanda Schnell. Within 2 days AFTER receiving the puppy at the airport our dog was in the hospital and diagnosed with Parvo. Our dog from the time we purchased him was never outside except for the ride home.
At no time was our dog in contact with any other dogs except for those that she had for sale at that time. When we called Amanda to let her know our dog was diagnosed with Parvo my husband and I wanted more information regarding the parents and the environment that she kept our puppy since we were too far to drive so she shipped the puppy to us. She refused to provide any information and would not even discuss the issue until we sent her all the paper work from our vet stating the situation with our puppy. She did not even sound worried that our puppy was dying which that is very sad. The only information we have about the breeder is what she provided to us which is her first and last name and the name of the website. After doing some research I found out that this lady is operating a very bad business and is getting puppies from puppy mills and not only that but she is also TRAFFICKING this poor puppies. That's why she has so many different breeds in her website and she has different puppies available EVERY WEEK. How can that be? That is impossible.
After finally speaking with her again, and after sending her all the paperwork she was requiring she was still unwilling to reimburse us for the costs we incurred due to the sick puppy she sold us. She insisted that dogs can get Parvo anywhere, and that our puppy contracted Parvo after we purchased him. But how can that be if we only had him for 2 days? We assured her that at no time had our puppy come in contact with any other dogs or any areas where other dogs had been. We are currently seeking action against her. This puppy broker so called breeder needs to be STOPPED! It is not fair that more families suffer like the way we did so please very purchasing a puppy from her make some research and think about it twice. We are short with what we payed for our puppy and the $2,700 we spent with the vet on trying to safe our puppy but unfortunately he did not make it. Please don't buy from this "unethical lady"
