USBI, Mainstreet Telephone Here's How To Report This Company and Stop This

It happened to me too guys. I was charged for a Mainstreet Telephone Platinum Plan and a Universal Service Fund (which my real telephone company already charges me for) totalling $15.36. I called my telephone company and it is being disputed so I don't have to pay it! Fear not those of you who have paid those fraudulent charges for I have the knowledge. What Mainstreet Telephone/USBI is doing is illegal. These are the people you need to contact about this.

1) Your real telephone provider. Let them know you want these charges disputed and have them block any future charges from that company. Most the time they can pull your bill up right infront of them and see what you're talking about. You should not have to pay these charges that are being disputed. Check with your telephone provider to know for sure. (On a side note, the lady from my phone provider had this happen to her as well, so inform them to check their own bill!)

2) The company that charged you. You can get the charges reversed and ensure they don't happen again. Here are 4 different numbers I got for Mainstreet/USBI:

6) If you paid the fraudulent charges or you are having trouble getting your charges reversed, file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau:

7) Your local news reporters. The more people that know about this, the better!

We need to get this information out to everyone! You guys said we should get together and give them hell. This is the best way to do it. We are going to let the government know about these kinds of companies until they do something about it! We won't let this happen to us or anyone else again!
