On June 6, I purchased a two year subscription to KISS Magazine, which is published by DNA Publications, Inc.
I paid $34.94 for my subcription via PayPal (which was the only payment method available), and in an email acknowledgement from the DNA Publications Order Department, It was promised that my subscription would start in 4 to 6 weeks.
After waiting 8 weeks, I started sending emails to the Customer Service Department at DNA Publications, but I never received a reply. I also tried contacting them by telephone, but the numbers listed for them have been disconnected!
I then contacted PayPal and filed a buyer dispute with them, but they refused to act on my complaint because they said I waited longer than the 45 day limit to file my claim. I explained that the item which I had purchased from the seller was a magazine subscription, so of course I had to wait a couple of weeks for ny subscription to start, but they didn't care.
Yesterday, I contacted my credit card issuer and explained my story to them. Since I paid for something which I never received using their credit card, they issued a provisional credit to my account, and began an inquiry into the matter.
I hope that this inquiry results in the provisional credit becoming permanent!
Avoid doing business with DNA Publications, as they are a dishonest company which refuses not only to deliver magazines which were paid for months ago, but they refuse to answer email!
