Incorrect tracking info, lost package, runaround and won't offer me refund. Ripoff

I recently purchased a piece of electronics from an online vendor who charged me $12 for ground shipping on an item. The package was shipped on August 21st and according to UPS was guaranteed by the end of the day August 24th. Well on the 24th I tracked the package via the web and was told it was on the truck for delivery, WELL I never got it.

Friday the 25th comes along and AGAIN their website shows "out for delivery". AGAIN! I never got it! When I called UPS to find out where it was I was told that the package was lost and that they'd try to track it. However, that I couldn't file a claim unless the shipper did so.

Friday at 6pm I get a call from the local center claiming they "found" the package and that it was never out for delivery and in order to get it I'd have to pickup. I asked the guy for his phone number so I could call him back because I just had surgery 2 days before and wasn't sure if I could find someone to pick it up for me. Well when calling back to tell him to just deliver it I got no answer.

It took me hours and hours of phone calls with UPS's so-called Customer Service Department. Only to get a call back from some woman who refused to deliver my package stating I requested it for pickup (WHICH WASN'T TRUE!). The she refused to identify herself (only that she was a "Supervisor") and hung up on me as soon as I asked her for her name and to let me conference her in with the supervisor assisting me with the matter. Again, I'm back on the phone with UPS 3 more times while they "input" into the system that the package be delivered on Monday the 28th, I get more uncooperative and incompetent CSR reps.

Well, Monday comes around and AGAIN no package. I call and get told well the request isn't in the system but I can do it and you'll have your package tomorrow (Tuesday). Tuesday comes around and the UPS guy comes and goes TWICE from our office to deliver packages. I again call UPS and spend 30 mins on my cellphone trying to figure what in gods name is going on.

Well he shows up a 3rd time because he forgot my package in the truck. WOW talk about reliable! (That was sarcasm by the way). Meanwhile, I'm still on the phone with "Customer Service" and the guy tells me well now that your package just arrived you can request a refund so I say OK and let it be.

Well here we are on Wednesday Aug 30th, I call UPS for my "refund" and get told I don't get it the shipper does. Well here comes another problem, there is no working contact information for the shipper, not even they can contact them. But the idiot on the phone issues the shipper the refund and I have to hope I get it. How is that fair??? I don't understand how now the shipper gets to pocket MY money, yet I'm the one who paid overpriced shipping on an item that was lost, delayed and dealt with the HORRIBLE customer service.

On top of that no one can give me a number to their Corporate offices in order to file a complaint. Their excuse? Well we're too big of a company and we don't have a directory or access to that kind of information. If that isn't a load of crock I don't know what is. Directories are compiled mainly for that reason so that when a company starts upsizing everyone knows where everyone is. Or maybe that's what this company's problem is, no one knows where anyone or anything is, kinda like the difference from their heads or their a*es.

UPS has bad business practices and doesn't protect the actual customers who are dealing with their bad service.
