It has been over a week since my last consumer complaints was filed in regards to Cedric King, CEO of Dap Rugget, Inc. He has accepted payment for a technical package in the total of $1000 and has never delivered and has also requested works such as a sales catalog layouts which cost $2500 to set up and has never paid for this item either.
In addition, Cedric King has failed to reimburse me for many ad specialties such as posters and other things that I laid money for out of my own pocket for a cost of over $50.00
The ad specialties and sales catalog layout design are not a priority as of now but I have requested a refund for services not rendered on numberous occasions. I see no reason to put my work in the hands of someone who does not keep his word or respect my talent enough to show action when paid to do so.
This ordeal has been going on for almost 2 and a half years in which I have yet to see a refund or the product that I initially paid $1000 for.
Since my report was filed, Cedric King of Dap-Rugget, Inc. Has sent me this to my email account:
"It really sadens me to see you put our internal business whether it be true or false on the web to try and ruin my name. I cant believe you would do such a thing after i told you i was sending out your check.
Please make a corrective statement apologizing for what you did. Also send me your address so i can have your check sent out to you. I do not trust that paypal stuff. Also i need documentation that you have been paid in full.
Never burn your bridges. Emotions have no place in business.

Basically, he has written the situation off as me being emotional when he does not understand that I am a serious individual when it comes to moneys paid for services not rendered. When dealing with clients over a long period of time a relationship is developed. Sometimes these relationships are mistaken for friendships. But even within a friendship, there has to be some level of dignity when it comes to business.
Cedric King knows in his heart that if he were to pay me for a service and he wasn't happy with the product, I would either refund his money or tweak the project to his liking.
Cedric King has yet to show me or my business the same level of consideration or respect.
Cedric King has on numerous occasions attempted to ruin my name and even went as far as to spread untruth about me all throughout his circle of business in Atlanta for absolutely no reason whatsoever.
I have never ripped this man off and have always been on time with graphic designs and clothing design. Since he has written this message, a week has went by and I still have yet to see a refund check in the mail. He has taken in my shipping information a total of 4 times and still fails to keep his word or refund my money.
This is the longest I have ever waited for a refund from any company and I have never dealt with or seen anything like this in my career as a graphic designer/illustrato
