Well I received one of these lottery winner notification letters to my overseas employment address in Astana, Kazakhstan!
It stated Award Final Notification and claimed I was a winner inthe 3rd category and am being awarded a lump sum of 415,810.00 euros! This is from a total cash prize of 16,621, 340.00 shared among the 31 international winners in this category.
I was sent this announcement letter with an additional form that required all sorts of other bank information. What is interesting is that I travel alot with my job and run an international school in KZ. So I think they got my name and school address from our company's web site.
I did email the address to inquire about the legitimacy of this and was again told to either fax or email my personal information and within 24 hours they would get back to me with information on how to claim my winnings.
I decided to do a search and was happy to find this hit from the consumer complaints. It confirmed my suspicions. Thank you!
