Just thought I'd way in a little.
This was the first time I recieved a business letter from DHL instead of UPS or FedEx.
In summary, they were supposed to deliver the next day, but they didn't show up until 5:30 PM the second day.
Now that's what I call... Late.
When I called at 5 PM on day 1, customer service said I could PICK IT UP TOMORROW!!! Can you believe that?"pick it up". She was nice and everything. But that was probably the standard, company practiced, manual read line to give out. Now that's cheap.
After talking to a supervisor, they wouldn't comp me for anything. I asked for red lobster or gift certificate, anything for my trouble, and I was nice and logical... But got nothing.
So I waited... All day Friday... Then all day Saturday... Until they showed up on Sat. Night at 5:30 PM.
If it absolutely, positively needs to be there - I think I'll use UPS or FedEx. But all in all DHL was OK. Maybe they're better. Their people were nice.
