I was looking to buy a teacup yorkie, registered, healthy, pedigree, vaccinated and wormed, and bred from quality breeders with this type of dog only.
I went on the internet to help me find quality breeders of the teacup yorkie puppies.

The website provides breeders, info about differents breeds of dogs, pretty much anything that has to do with finding a puppy of any sort from any breeder in the United States.
This website also works with a company called Escrow.com which is a service that provides you with a contract between the seller and the buyer outlining the details of the sale (buyer / seller information including: names, addresses, phone numbers, price, what seller is providing to buyer, exact stipulations of the sale and precise detailed description of the puppy: size, breed, quality, price, what comes with the puppy, and proof of all exams, physicals, shots, papers, etc
I wire the money to the escrow service after both parties agree to contract and terms and then both sign contract with escrow. Terms are carried out after I receive puppy I have 48 (per contract) to decide if I want the merchandise, If I accept merchandise then I contact escrow and they release money to seller, if I decline merchandise I send it back within 5 days. I contacted her that day 6/26/06, my daughter fell in love with his picture. Which showed a very very small puppy in a coffee cup. I asked if he was still for sale and his size and to call me or email me because we wanted to purchase him and gave her all my info.
She responded immediately telling me he was 34 oz. And would be only 3 1/2 pounds at full adult weight, he was in perfect health, and she wanted $250.00 sent to her directly for the plane ticket
I questioned it and said why isn't this going to be in the contract and she said because she needs to pay for the ticket up front. I told her i would call the airline once she booked and give them my info directly to them. She got the information for his flight and said if weather was okay she would send him out on saturday 7/1/06 but she still needed the money for the ticket because she needed it for final booking and said it also covered the vet check and carrier.
In the contract it said the original 975 covered that stuff and thats why she really needed it up front that there was a misunderstanding. Origanally, the contract stated i would also have 7 days for examination of puppy to decide if it was what i wanted. She then changed it to 48 hours because i should know by then. I told her i felt uncomfortable with the money situation and that something didn't feel right. The 48 would be okay because i could get him to a vet monday morning.
Then she contacts me saying saturday would be to hot for him to fly and was sending him friday instead (which my monday vet check would be to late) my daughter was anxious and the other $1100.00 was in escrow, so, i told her to give me her bank info. I would then check out the info making sure she was who she said and name, address, phone, account and bank# were all legitamate.
I called the bank they confirmed the info and i then transferred the 250 because then she offered to send him cod but it would cost more.
She emailed me the flight info for friday, little did she know I had an emergency vet appt saturday morning. Friday i picked him up at the erie, PA airport. She said when i went to pick him up i would have to have photo id and all the paper work because they are very strict and she works with just Delta because they are so good. They brought him out to the ticket counter and i said he is mine. The girl at the desk said sign here and thank you. That was it!
I pulled him out of the cage and to my surprise he was 3 times the size as promised and was covered in fesces and mud which were not in the cage. He was filthy, smelt of urine and was obviously never groomed or cleaned. I went to the nearest grooming station and had him groomed and bathed. I was supposed to receive all the promised documents and certificates and registrations but they were not there.
In the cage was 3 toys, a stained and filthy t=shirt and a sweater that he was laying on, not even a blanket. His food was taped to the outside of the cage and was never fed or had any water. The paperwork i did receive was copies of pages from a book and a sheet she typed up claiming these were the shots he had. Nothing of any proof of all that she had claimed.
The next morning i took him to the vet and i was then devastated and astonished by the info i would now get. He has parasites, a severe heart murmer, malnourished, was twice the weight she had claimed (4 pounds) and still not full grown. He will reach 7-8 pounds not the 3 1/2 she claimed never had any shots and the shots listed on her typed up sheet didn't even exist.
The vet stated all these problems were not new buy preexisted for a very long period of time, according to the severity of the murmer and the parasite count. Not only did he look at him but 2 other vets in the office to verify the facts and they put them in writing for me. Now we have to hope he doesn't go into congestive heart failure before he is treated, if he can even be treated.
Lots of medical expensive and lifelong medication regiment. The vet claimed this was a severe case of animal cruelty, neglect and plain animal abuse.
I have been scammed!
I immediately contacted her by email because this whole entire process I tried repeatedly numerous times to contact her by phone and she would never call me back or answer. She of course denied it all and said it must have happened while in my care because she loves and takes great care of her puppies and would never do such a thing... But all of this was preexisting and won't even admit that. A heart murmer and severe parasites and gained 2 pounds but malnourished, all over night! Give me a break!
She claimed the vet check paper was in the crate and the vet check paper that was in there stated "Per their conversation, in his opinion it would probably be alright for the dog to fly under 85 degrees and on the top it had the vets name and the owners name "JILL H*" same address as Jana (who is jill h*)
She now is demanding her money for the dog or wants me to pay to send him back. I can't justify for the love of the dog sending him back to that cruel, inhumane situation let alone paying for another plane ticket at my expense.
But if I don't send him back, the money is released to her in 5 - 10 days. I am screwed either way. My daughter instantly fell in love with the dog and is so upset about his condition she wants to take care of him which i would see it no other way but tolove him and try to make him as comfortable as possible. Never once did she ask about him, his well-being or if he was going to be alright.
What do i do now? I told her i would not take this lying down and i would persue this to the fullest and fight for justice.internet scamming and forgery of vet documents whoever this Jill H* Owner is and every other law that has been broken, i swear i will not let her get away with this

Well, I bought the dog on 6/26/06 after viewing her ad and receiving email from her claiming all was true and will provide proof. I received the dog on the evening of 6/30/06 which i paid for the airline ticket (i am in pa.) up front to her and put the $1016.00 in escrow.com.
When I picked the dog up she did not provide any of the paperwork that she was supposed to provide. No registration, no pedigree papers, no health guarentee, no certificate of veternary inspection, no micro-chip papers, no current records from vet on all vaccines & worming shots.
First thing Saturday morning, 7/1/06, at 8:30am I took him to the vet (I had a 48 hour period of inspection) He was not 34 oz he was 4 pounds, he has a heart murmer, he has parasites, he has dislocated knee caps, he is malnourish, the list of shots she typed up herself were not real worming shots, they were made up names (and if the dog would have recieved the shots, he wouldn't have had the parasites).
I am very angry that I was scammed. I want something done about this, she can not get away with type of fraud and scam. I am also going to be contacting the police authorities in her town for the false advertisement, internet scams, theft by deception, and theft of services. Please get back to me with the next step, I have all paperwork to back everything i said.
