I can no longer contain myself and have to vent my frustrations with verizon. Lie cheat and steal is all part of a days work at verizon. I have had so many problems with them, I hardly know where to begin, but this Goliath needs to be brought down! I have had big problems getting rebates (maybe thats why they use a different company, so they can pass the buck when they rip you off). Deliberate overbilling (you really got to watch these guys) When I tried to cancell last week I found that my contract was extended without my knowledge when I changed to a cheaper plan (pretty sneaky). Customer service that is not interested in resolving issues. I had called and made a deal to make a payment on a certain date which they agreed to, then they cut off my lousy service on the day I said I would pay, of course they deny agreeing to that so they could hit me with more fees. With their expensive early cancellation fees they really feel that they got you by the *&, which in fact they do, and they can pretty much get away anything. And the actual phone service is a nightmare when the coverage is so bad that my cell phone is pretty much useless at home. One of the main reasons for having a cell phone was the free long distance (I pay on my land line)
