The Pittsburgh Mills Mall lured local business people to rent space in their Mall. They showed everyone blueprints of what was coming to the Mall, like Nascar, Express, plus loads of other National chain tenants. NO ONE CAME! This caused local business owners to have to close their stores and kiosks, after spending thousands of dollars to open their new businesses. The Mills Corporation is now being investigated by the SEC and is being sued by their investors, but the locals who invested everything they had in opening their stores at this mall are left with NOTHING. There should be a class-action lawsuit filed against this company by all the Pittsburgh business owners who either went broke or lost practically everything they had in this Mall; which by the way... Has no customers! The mall management counts foot traffic by counting the traffic that comes in for the Imax theater! There is no one coming to this mall to SHOP... Because there are no stores that anyone is interested in. It was all promised to many local business owners last year to lure them in, but it never materialized. The mall is very vacant.
