Mark Gregory, a trademark lawyer located in Delaware, was hired to do a simple trademark registration. We tried to make an appointment at his office.instead, he insisted on coming to ours... This seemed very suspsicious. He then, used our computer to file the trademark, with a very quick search of any trademark infringments.
Before leaving, he called his wife to let her know he was working. She did not believe him & asked us to talk to her to reassure he was with a client. This was a smack in the face for us. If his wife can not trust him, why are we? Not a very good impression.
Within days of the meeting, we started to receive emails from him demanding payment. There was no schedule for payment discussed & we were not informed how or where to pay. The emails were very direct & unproffessional. We could not pay him because he never gave us an address to send the payment to. After receiving the address & a sorry try of an apology, we sent payment immediately. This was the last time we heard from him.
We sent emails that were unanswered & some with replies that he was to busy to talk to us. We sent another email with the same reply. We called him without a reply. We finally were convinced that: Mark Gregory, trademark lawyer, has RIPPED US OFF!
Our trademark was denied for a very simple reason that should of been caught by any trademark lawyer. Mark Gregory showed a lack of effort, follow-up & no concern for our trademark. His poor performance is the reason we lost our trademark, 3 years of work & over $1,000.00 in costs. A total disaster!
If you are interested in using this laywer, it is our recommendation & opinion not to use this lawyer. I hope you find this trademark lawyer complaint & decide to use a lawyer that will actually do a good job.
