I was originally drawn to vistaprint after seeing the quality of somebody's business cards. They looked very nice. I went online myself and designed a card.in doing so, I uploaded five logos/images onto the card design.
At checkout time, I noticed that every logo that I had uploaded gave me a $4.99 charge. Rather than spend $61.36 for 500 cards, I logged off. When logging off, I got a pop-up ad for 20% off my order by, "Clicking here." I clicked, and the shopping cart had updated to show my total as $51.13.
I called Vistaprint's customer service number, and spoke to a male representative. I asked if there was any way to remove one or two of the logo charges. He stated, "No, but I can take 10% off of your bill." I said that would be fine. He told me that with shipping, my total bill would be $53.27. We completed the transaction using my Visa Check Card over the phone.
10% off of the $51.13 was $46.02. Add shipping of $7.25, and the grand total is $53.27.
I later received a confirmation e-mail from Vistaprint, showing that $65.66 had been charged to my Visa Check Card. I checked my order history online at Vistaprint, and it showed that the original 20% discount had been removed, and replaced by the discount.
I called customer service at Vistaprint, and was told that the order could not be changed. I asked that the order be cancelled, and they refused my request. I have called three times, and have been met by rude customer service people every time.
I will NEVER give my business to Vistaprint again. I just wish that I had read the Vistaprint section in the complaint BEFORE I did business with Vistaprint.
