Ripoff Sprint broken phone, want it repaired You are the enemy don't even try unless you want to pay them more money

I have an LG cell phone with a Sprint logo on it which I purchased for nearly $200.00 in January. Now it is April and the headset jack in the phone in inoperable. I took the phone to the store and the little chinese guy working the counter treated me as if I were the enemy and a liar. He went through all the motions to prove that I was lying. It took him nearly a half an hour to prove to himself that indeed the phone was not working. Meanwhile during the process he would go into the back room and come back out and say "your phone is not broken" to which I would have to repeat to him that the microphone does not work. I could hear but no one could hear me. Then he gives it to his associate to try to prove that I am lying, but the phone will not perform for either one of them. We are treated as the enemy and they stand poised to retaliate with whatever rudeness they can muster.
The phone is only 4 months old and still under warranty. Now he says he can't fix it because I did not buy the Sprint (extra fluff charge) warranty. He wants me to cough up $55.00 and then he will send it to LG. I say what for? It's under warranty and call LG. They tell me there is no charge to return it and give me a RMA # to put inside and on the box. I won't get the phone back for 10 days. Do you think that Sprint in a customer friendly, want to do the right thing way, would offer a loaner? Absolutely not. If I want service from them I will need to buy another phone all over again so that I have service. This is the only phone that I have so if I send it away, I have no phone.

The entire time I was in the store with chinaman, he never ever wanted to help me. It was his job to say no to every solution I had. Whatever I tried to come up with that would accomodate this situation his answer was NO NO NO. We can't do that. It seems to me that this corporate giant loves you when you come in to give them money, but should you have a problem, you are on your own. Companies used to take care of their customers and keep them happy and solve their problems. Now it is all about GREED and their employees are like little soldiers brainwashed into treating the customer as the enemy.
And why is it that these greedy corporations can't work together for the benefit of the customer? They all re-design their equipment so that the battery chargers, etc will only work on their phones. When you switch carriers, you have to buy the stuff all over again. And God forbid you might just buy yourself a phone on your own. Try taking that to them. I have a HP 6315 PDF and there is no way they will let me use that for my phone because they will not make any money on the unit which I already own. So, little chinaman emphatically told me no way will I be able to use that with Sprint. Now I have to go find a new carrier if I want to use this device and I am sure Sprint will try to ding me for fees because I will leave them before the mandatory year is up. They lock us in to their crappy service and then when we want out, they charge us. This is not fair or just. No wonder there is so much anger in the world. Look at how the corporate giants treat people. And they expect us to just take it and cough up more money to them. And if we try to fight back by cancelling their crappy service, they ruin our credit, harass us and generally treat us like the enemy. If there is an honest company out there that offers good cell service and excellent customer service I have not heard of them. I have been with Cingular who are incredible liars and billing manipulators and overchargersl, AT&T the most horrible dishonest company in the Universe with tactics only Satan could think of and Verizon a lazy, lying who cares about the customer company who's service is random at best and denies that they have pockets where phones don't work at all.infact they all do this. They know exactly where their service fails yet if you ask, they will not tell you.instead you have to sign on, buy all the products and then find out for yourself that they don't even work in your area. And you are once again locked in for a year. We should not be forced to pay for services that do not work. Sprint is horrible. Have you ever dialed their 411 and had your ears blasted right out of your head. They have the volume so high you can hear the recording on the moon. And they are with Nextell and when their part comes on about text messaging you can hear that on Venus. What are these idiots thinking? Have they ever listened to their 411 information recordings? I think not. I really think these companies don't care, they just want our money and the hell with us. Without us they would have nothing, no money coming in at all. Perhaps we should send them all a message and stop using their crappy services. Maybe then they would listen. Oh that's right, they would have to charge us first.
