Ripoff I fell for the old game too!

The afore mentioned statements are my opinion, which is my right in our free society. I, like so many others (judging by the reports and complaints that I have read on consumer complaints and also online by scanning a search on Passionads.com) have likely been duped by the "apparently the old scam" of receiving an email from (a girl) inviting me to see her photo's.

The email came after I responded to a member on and after we exchanged email address's she sent me an email from yahoo inviting me to see her personal pictures on a link which took me to Passionads.com. She gave me a "secret password" and I fell for it. After I signed up (and this fool who just recently lost his wife "she sounded so interested in me that I wanted to believe her") went along. I then sent an email too her profile name on passionads.com, as instructed by her.

Well as you can guess I never got a reply after I paid the fee. After surfing the site for a few days it became apparent to me that (in my opinion) the site exists with very few members, most of whom are fictitious.

Perhaps they count on people just canceling the membership when they get no response and then move on to finding more suckers? You really cant check out just how cheesy the site is until you pay and join. For example, if you click on "help" it takes you back to the member sign up page. If you click on frequently asked questions this is what you see: "How do I cancel my PassionAds.com membership? Click here to cancel your PassionAds.com membership? After I create my account, when will my profile be viewable by other members. Right away. Why does your site require cookies? Cookies are harmless text files that sites put on your computer. No sensitive information is stored in the cookies. The cookies we put on your computer are used to store your session id. If you research the subject, you will find that cookies are the preferred way to store that session id. The other way would be to pass it in the URL, and that is less secure." That's it!

Well, lesson learned and I hope to get my money back. Using a sales hustle to trick people into joining this site, (again in my opinion) which is so lame compared to most other sites of this kind, is just plain wrong.
