My son purchased a game through EB website. He did nothing more than pay for the game with his debit card. But this outfit, WLI Reservations somehow got hold of his account and has been debiting his account $9.00 per month for since October. Nothing was ever sent to our home to confirm this purchase.
How we caught this fraud was that our bank called us to confirm if we had this purchase or not. I called the 800 number and they told me how this came to be. They immediately agreed to cancel the subscription and credit my account for the latest month. When I threatened them with legal action, they credited my account for the entire time back to October.
This is a scam that uses legitimate online sellers as their shill to get unsuspecting customers. Moeover, the amount of money they charge to your account is so small that it flies under most people's radar.
Let's put these crooks out of business.
