I purchased a Ducane Grill several years ago. At the time they were selling a limited lifetime warranty on grill parts most susceptible to failure. I purchased the lifetime warranty and have received replacement parts in the past.
Recently I ordered replacement parts through my dealer. When the parts arrived, I was then told that Ducane sold out to Weber grills and they have since discontinued the lifetime warranty program. My opinion is if Weber purchased the Ducane company, then they should deliver on what Ducane has sold it's customers in the past.
It is unethical to sell a person a lifetime contract on anything, then abolish the program leaving the customer empty handed. Any reputable company should deliver on it's promise.
